The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay. What is St. Jude Up ‘til Dawn? We’re staying Up ‘til Dawn for the kids of St. Jude who are battling cancer or other catastrophic diseases, whose parents stay up ‘til dawn regularly. No child should die in the dawn of life, so help us fight childhood cancer by gathering a team of six and raising $600 (which equals out to $100 per person, and 10 donations of $10)!! November 11th, 2017 we are making the sacrifice and want you to join! Throughout the night you will receive text messages with details on locations of the event, games your team will play while earning incentives (like raffle tickets/points), and the exciting surprises the night might hold! Represent your floor, major, campus organization, sorority, fraternity and best friends! How do I raise my money? All student teams will register to compete and fundraise online at www.stjude.org/utd and they can manage their fundraising goal through their personal fundraising page. From there you can send emails to family and friends asking for donations, post a donation link on all social media, and even submit addresses of family/friends for a hard copy letter to be sent to them. AND you can do it all from your computer, iPad, or phone! Teams can even have side events to raise their $100 personal goal, and we will help plan them! Remember – each team members must raise their $100 minimum, which is only 5 people giving $20! Or $10 people giving $10! – EASY! How to register for the Up ‘til Dawn event: 1) Make a team of 6. 2) Choose a team captain. 3) Team captain must go www.stjude.org/utd and sign up the team. 4) Click Register and Find Your School then type in Illinois State University. 5) Team Captains sign up as a Team Captain, everyone else sign up as joining a team! (Not an individual)*** 6) Personalize your page with videos and pictures. 7) Begin Fundraising!! You can even send e-mails straight from your fundraising page! **All you have to do is raise $100 bucks to come to this one of a kind event! – Super easy! And remember, it’s all for the kids of St. Jude. INCENTIVES?!
