LGBTQ+ youth make up about 40% of the homeless youth population but only 7% of the general youth population. Support Proud Haven (a shelter and resource center for LGBTQ+ youth in Pittsburgh). Proud Haven needs toiletries to give out and we should support a local organization that does such great work! Toiletries: unopened toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc. Each item donated will equal 0.5 service hours with a max of 3 hours! Either drop off donations in WPU 635 or contact me and I can grab them from you.
