Elections-VP Membership
Amy Gourley I’m Amy, a freshman Psychology/Anthropology Major. Aside from APO and outside of this year’s classes, I’m involved in Ethics Bowl, the First Year Leadership Institute, the Global Titans Fellowship, and I am helping seniors with psychology research; I work at the Alumni Office and just recently got a job at the Writing Center for next year! I want to use my energy and my passion for people in Alpha Phi Omega: If elected as VP of Membership for our chapter, I hope to help plan an aggressive and effective program that will facilitate our chapter’s growth. I would carefully analyze our chapter, its programs, and specific needs on campus to advertise the good we do and encourage the involvement and participation of potential members. As a creative person, I hope to take advantage of an assortment of different methods and work with others - in and outside APO - to supplement growth (and not just in numbers). I hope to bring us closer with each other and new recruited members!
Elections-VP Fundraising
Morgan Braun I would like to be fundraising chair because as a townie I know the most likely places in town that can donate and hold fundraisers. Also I have my own oven if we decide to do a bake sale. When I was in high school I held a position like this and would love an opportunity to do it again. Class Schedule: M/W 9-12, 1-2, 4-5:30 T/R 8-9:15, 2:35- 4:30 F 9-10, 1-2 SS work 6-10 I also go to F:EM and work a lot of random over night shifts but can work those around this!
Elections-Sergeant at Arms
Andrew Coop I want to be Sergeant at Arms because I want to be on the executive board to be more involved with APO. I’ve enjoyed being a part of APO so far and I think being part of the executive board will only make being part of APO better. I would like to gain leadership experience and being on the APO board will be an excellent opportunity to gain that experience. I’m on the men's soccer team and I volunteer weekly at Bent elementary school. Classes: Bad Girls, Pediatric Nursing, Adult Nursing, and Nursing Research Methods
Elections-VP Communications
Sara Dust I’m a junior Business Admin Marketing major so I have extensive communication skills. I worked in the communication department this past summer in Osaka, Japan with Mizuno. I am hard working, dedicated, and want to see APO be the best it can be. In addition to normal classwork next semester, I will be working in the Office of Alumni Engagement and may still be working on an internship I hold this semester. I am also a member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi.
Elections-Community Service
Sierra Eidsmoe I love being involved in the community and finding interesting service opportunities. This position would allow me to make service fun for everyone and pick meaningful service projects that will help those in need while bringing our organization closer together as brothers. Being a townie I have connections with deserving organizations who would love our help. I'm on the Panhellenic Council as the VP of Community Service, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, member of rock climbing club, yoga club, peace garden, and SNA member. My schedule next year is the regular nursing courses with a psychology class. Spring 2019 I might be going abroad to Spain.
