A reminder that event attendance is vital to our organization and its ability to provide service to the community
National Service Week:
The theme for National Service Week is adult literacy.
We will host an event in the Dugout from 11-1 on Thursday. We'll have a book or journal of blank pages and encourage people to write the next sentence of "a story." We'll have a second blank journal where we'll encourage people to write the name of their favorite book they've read in their own interest. Those who participate will get a piece of andy/treat/etc. from the bowl. We'll post and share with the IWU community on Facebook which novels are ranked among the favorites of our students!
Please sign up on APO Online to help out and earn service hours! Unfortunately I am in class and work during lunch hours so we could really use the help!
