OUR CARDINAL PRINCIPLES
LEADERSHIP
Alpha Phi Omega allows its members to develop their leadership potential. Officers are elected every semester, providing multiple opportunities to gain leadership experience. However, through service, one is never at a loss for exercising leadership. We are constantly learning, growing, and developing our inner leaders as we serve our community.
FRIENDSHIP
Our chapter serves together...and has fun together! Through socials and weekly dinners, as well as semi-formals, sectional and regional conferences, and retreats, we bond with our APO family, both at Duke and others colleges.
SERVICE
Participation in our chapter's service program makes our fraternal experience unique. Throughout the week, projects include tutoring high school students, doing science experiments with children, playing with kids at the Boys and Girls Club, tending crops at the Duke Campus Farm, building homes with Habitat for Humanity, assisting the elderly at a local nursing home, and even taking care of lions and tigers at Carolina Tiger Rescue!
