Is APOonline free?

APOonline has a free trial period for all chapters; it is free for the first academic term (semester/trimester/quarter). Once the free trial time has expired the chapter will then be automatically converted to a paying subscription of APOonline unless the chapter requests a service termination or change in subscription level.

What is a 'qualifying account'?

Qualifying accounts are any user account that is of the following membership status: Active, Officer, Pledge, Associate. Any custom membership status will also be considered a qualifying account unless there is reasonable justification for it not to be and the exemption has been pre-approved (ex. Study Abroad status would not be charged because this membership status does not make use of the APOonline system). Please contact Tony at tony@apoonline.org for any exemption requests.

When is a chapter invoiced?

APOonline will send an electronic invoice to both the chapter treasurer and the chapter president about half way through each term. The total number of qualifying accounts will be calculated when the invoice is generated.

Most chapters operating on the quarterly system have opted to only receive three invoices throughout each year (skipping the summer invoice). If you are in this position and would also like to change to this type of billing cycle then please contact Tony at tony@apoonline.org.

When is an invoice due?

All APOonline invoices are due 30 days after the invoice was sent unless otherwise noted on the invoice.

What happens if I don't pay on time?

An overdue notification will be sent to your chapter and your chapter's APOonline service will be at risk of being suspended. 30 days after your overdue notification, your chapter's site will be auto-suspended.

Which payment methods are accepted by APOonline?

APOonline invoices are paid to the National Office. Payments may be made in any form that the national ΑΦΩ office accepts. Traditionally this is by check payable to 'Alpha Phi Omega' and mailed to the address shown at the bottom of each invoice. You can also call the national office and pay by credit card, eCheck, or even any credit your chapter holds at the national office.
