APOonline is an independent entity that is an official partner of Alpha Phi Omega. APOonline is brought to you by a fellow APO brother, Anthony "Tony" Schmidt of the Alpha Zeta Chapter.
Yes! Any and all APO chapters, petitioning groups, alumni associations, etc. are more than welcome to sign up for a free trial of APOonline.
Absolutely! In fact APOonline provides free service for all prospect groups, interest groups, and petitioning groups of Alpha Phi Omega until they charter or recharter. This is a service that is provided by APOonline to assist in the creation of new APO chapters in the spirit of extending the brotherhood of this wonderful fraternity. Sign up now.
That's OK! You can still benefit from all of the features of APOonline without having two websites. Simply sign up for the Blue Level subscription then link to your APOonline website from your existing website as a "Member Login" area.
APOonline has a free trial period for all chapters; it is free for the first academic term (semester/trimester/quarter). APOonline is also free for all Petitioning Groups, Interest Groups, and Prospect Groups until they charter or re-charter. Once the free trial time has expired the chapter will then be automatically converted to a paying subscription of APOonline unless the chapter requests a service termination or change in subscription level.
See the Pricing Page for current pricing. Once your chapter signs up you are locked into your rate unless you choose to upgrade or discontinue service for any period of time. In those cases you will upgrade or reactivate using the subscription rates at that time.
Qualifying accounts are any user account that is of the following membership status: Active, Officer, Pledge, Associate. Any custom membership status will also be considered a qualifying account unless there is reasonable justification for it not to be and the exemption has been pre-approved (ex. Study Abroad status would not be charged because this membership status does not make use of the APOonline system). Please contact Tony at tony@apoonline.org for any exemption requests.
APOonline will send an electronic invoice to both the chapter treasurer and the chapter president about half way through each term. The total number of qualifying accounts will be calculated when the invoice is generated.
Most chapters operating on the quarterly system have opted to only receive three invoices throughout each year (skipping the summer invoice). If you are in this position and would also like to change to this type of billing cycle then please contact Tony at tony@apoonline.org.
All APOonline invoices are due 30 days after the invoice was sent unless otherwise noted on the invoice.
An overdue notification will be sent to your chapter and your chapter's APOonline service will be at risk of being suspended. 30 days after your overdue notification, your chapter's site will be auto-suspended.
APOonline invoices are paid to the National Office. Payments may be made in any form that the national ΑΦΩ office accepts. Traditionally this is by check payable to 'Alpha Phi Omega' and mailed to the address shown at the bottom of each invoice. You can also call the national office and pay by credit card, eCheck, or even any credit your chapter holds at the national office.
