Night Market: Event Crew

The Night Market is a monthly event hosted by the North Limestone Community Development Corporation (NoLi). You will be helping in a variety of tasks to facilitate the event. Check out their facebook page for more info about the organization. https://www.facebook.com/NoliCDC ****Parking is available at the Grace Baptist Church parking lot at 118 E. Loudon Ave. All volunteers are encouraged to arrive and leave in pairs for their safety especially after dark.******* Upon arrival, volunteers will report to 720 Bryan Ave. for introduction and task instruction. Look for the NoLi booth/crew. A volunteer will be stations at each end of Bryan Ave. (Limestone and Loudon). These volunteers will be responsible for: -tracking attendance with a clicker counter ( clicker will be provided) -assisting in answering questions -reporting problems to the Night Market coordinator 2 Volunteers will be responsible for polling Night Market attendees. They will be equipped with clipboards, pens and a brief survey. This survey is used to help gauge demographics and geographics of Night Market attendees. Volunteers return materials and surveys to the NoLi CDC booth at 10:00 pm. 2 Volunteers will be responsible for trash. -Monitoring receptacles -replacing bags as needed -ensuring that items are being places in the proper bin (recyclables in recycling, compostables in compost, etc.) -educating attendees on proper bin placement -conducting two “sweeps” of the event space for trash. These should be done at the middle and towards the end of the event
